Fall Creek Counseling Associates

debra

Hello and Welcome - I'm Dr. Debra Moore, Psychologist and Founder/Former Director of Fall Creek Counseling Associates.

PLEASE NOTE:

 After 35 very rewarding years,
I retired at the end of May 2015 and have closed         Fall Creek Counseling Associates.

However, for now our website will remain up, so that you can find articles and book reviews here on topics including anxiety, depression, relationships and marriage, parenting, autism spectrum, stress, trauma and much more.

We've also put together a list of other Sacramento and Roseville resources that you might find helpful. These emphasize low cost groups and agencies that accept clients according to a sliding fee.

Also, you'll notice that the revolving group announcement boxes are still operating below on this page.  However, the only group continuing is the Asperger's Group, which will meet in Rocklin, facilitated by of one of our previous therapists. You can click on the revolving box below to go directly to that meetup group. Or visit www.meetup.com/sacaspergers. The rest of the groups are no longer in existence and our group tab at the top of this page will no longer take you to any groups.

Stay tuned for updates about my new adventures (retirement already seems pretty busy!).  I have contributed to a book "The Nine Degrees of Autism" to be released this fall, and am honored to be coauthoring a book with Temple Grandin to be released by Future Horizons in January.

We'll be writing a guide for parents and professionals about how to best help those on the high functioning end of the autism spectrum move from isolation, unemployment and dependence into meaningful,                independent, and connnected lives.

For now, you can still reach me at
