Fall Creek Counseling Associates

Hello and Welcome - I'm Dr. Debra Moore, Psychologist and Director of Fall Creek.

Please be aware that after 35 very rewarding years, I am retiring from active practice in May of 2015.  Fall Creek Counseling offices will be open through the 3rd week of May and will then close.

However, several of our therapists will remain in the greater Sacramento area and may have a few openings for new clients. If you are willing to travel to mid-town, Gold River, or Rocklin, one of them may be able to assist you.  (They may or may not be able to fit you in at our current location for a few sessions before they relocate).

However, for now our website will remain up, and you you can find hundreds of articles and book reviews here on topics including anxiety, depression, relationships and marriage, parenting, autism spectrum, stress, trauma and much more.

We've also put together a list of other Sacramento and Roseville resources that you might find helpful.

Stay tuned for updates about my new adventures (retirement already seems pretty busy!).  I have contributed to a book "The Nine Degrees of Autism" to be released this fall, and am honored to be coauthoring a book with Temple Grandin to be released by Future Horizons in January.

We'll be writing a guide for parents and professionals about how to best help those on the high functioning end of the autism spectrum move from isolation, unemployment and dependence into meaningful,                independent, and connnected lives.
